June 1st Sales Tax Changes

The June 1st Sales Tax Changes are all in the state of Alabama this month.

  • City of Tallassee (within Elmore County – Locality Code 9364)
  • City of Tallassee (within Tallapoosa County – Locality Code 9363)
  • City of Vestavia Hills
  • Town of Hayden
  • City of Winfield (located in Fayette & Marion County)

An administrative note for the Henagar AL:  The governing body of the City of Henagar has adopted Resolution No. 2018-0301 to commence services rendered by the Alabama Department of Revenue in the administration and collection of the sales/use taxes, for the City of Henagar. This Resolution is effective June 01, 2018.  For more information on this administrative change, the AL DOR provides this link.

Our Research Team also made adjustments to some rates for the “unincorporated” areas of Washington State.

There were 12 states with ZIP code changes effective after May 2018 including Arkansas, Arizona, DC, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Montana, New York, Ohio, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
